A group of 10 nonprofit groups in Anderson County threw the first Cultural Celebration in 2006. I sat on the board was responsible for all of the graphic and advertising elements that would be required to launch the event. Because of it's initial success, it has since been branded the “Anderson International Festival” and is held every 2 years–presenting a different culture each time it occurs.
